Bro. Ramesh Babu

Bro. Ramesh Babu was born in Erode, Tamil Nadu, India, as the first son of Mr. Sami Durai and Mrs. Yesu Merry. He was born into a Christian family and completed his school and college education in Erode. By God’s grace, he holds two postgraduate degrees: M.Sc. in Electronics and M.A. in Psychology
.Though he was born into a Christian home, he had not personally experienced the saving love of Jesus Christ. Like many, he drifted away, seeking worldly pleasures and temporary blessings, and became entangled in the considered sinful ways of the world.
At the age of 17, Bro. Ramesh Babu heard the Gospel of Jesus Christ in an unexpected moment. During that message, he heard the solemn warning that those who continue in sin will face eternal separation from God. This Word pierced his heart deeply and produced godly fear within him. At the same time, the fear of failing his higher secondary board examinations weighed heavily upon his mind. Burdened by fear, guilt, and uncertainty, he cried out for deliverance—and this cry led him to Jesus Christ.
From that point onward, he. Ramesh Babu began to experience the unconditional love and mercy of Jesus Christ. Through personal encounters and God’s miraculous intervention in his life, an unquenchable hunger for Christ was kindled within his heart. Yet for a season, he struggled to fully separate himself from his old sinful life.
During the first year of his bachelor’s degree, God placed a deep hunger in his heart for the infilling of the Holy Spirit. He separated himself in prayer and fasting, crying out to God to fill him with His Spirit so that he might live a holy and victorious life. The Lord heard his cry and filled him abundantly with the Holy Spirit. From that moment, he was delivered from the bondage of sin and fully surrendered his life to the Kingdom and will of God.
After being filled with the Holy Spirit, God began to use him mightily in ministry. The Lord worked through him to set people free from demonic bondages, to heal those suffering from severe and incurable diseases, and to restore lives broken by depression, suicidal thoughts, love failures, rejection, and unemployment. God used him as a vessel of compassion to comfort the brokenhearted, wipe away tears, and lead many into the peace, joy, and anointing of the Holy Spirit. The Lord also entrusted him with spiritual authority to guide many believers into deeper spiritual life and obedience.
In the year 2006, in obedience to the clear command of the Lord, Bro. Ramesh Babu stepped into full-time ministry and began Voice of Wilderness International Ministries. As he obeyed God’s calling, opposition arose, and the enemy stirred fear and misunderstanding even within his own family. Yet he chose obedience to God over comfort, trusting fully in the promises of Scripture.
“And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life.” -Matthew 19:29
Led by the Holy Spirit and anchored in this promise, he stepped out in faith to fulfill God’s calling, while continuing to honor his parents in Christ. From the very first day of this ministry, the Lord has faithfully supplied every need in miraculous and wonderful ways.
Today, Bro. Ramesh Babu stands as a living testimony to the faithfulness of God, declaring to the world that God surely honors and blesses those who fear Him, obey His Word, and walk in complete surrender.
